Third year ordering from these and the logs just get better. Bone dry, lights easy, burns for ages. Delivery driver was sound too.

I do a fair bit of research before buying anything and Gough's ticked every box. Woodsure certified, locally sourced, sensible prices. Ordered the standard bulk bag, it turned up well within the delivery window, moisture was well under 20% when I tested it. Exactly what it says on the tin. Will be a regular customer.

Rang up about some live edge boards not really knowing what I wanted. Martin spent a good 20 minutes on the phone going through what they had in stock. No rushing, no upselling. Ended up with two beautiful pieces of ash. Really pleased.

Had Gough's build and fit a bar in our games room. Solid oak top, shelving underneath, the lot. Every single person who comes round asks about it. Bit of a talking point tbh. Quality is obvious, you can just tell it's been made properly.

Fine. Did what it said. Kindling was dry, firelighters worked. Delivered when they said. No complaints.

We wanted fitted shelving in the study and had a rough idea of what we were after but weren't set on the details. Sat down with Martin, talked it through, and he came back with some really good suggestions we hadn't considered. The finished piece looks like it's always been there. That's the best thing I can say about joinery, really.

5 stars. Does what it says.

First time ordering online rather than collecting locally. Was a bit unsure but it was completely painless. Bag arrived, decent size, wood is clearly well dried. Burns clean with very little ash. Glad I found them.

Just want good logs at a fair price, delivered without any palaver. That is exactly what I got. Thank you.

Commissioned a live edge dining table top after seeing some of their timber online. The slab Martin set aside for us was stunning, lots of natural character in it. He sent photos before it was cut so we could approve it. Communication throughout was excellent. Very happy customers.
